The tournament was a huge success this year and by far the best turnout of both riders and spectators alike! We had 16 beginner riders, 12 novice riders, 9 intermediate riders, 7 wakeskaters, and 3 expert riders. I'd like to give thanks to all of our sponsors, Rukus Boardsports, Bennetts ski and wakeboard school, Dix "Almost Famous" Daiquiris, Marley's Sports Bar, Red's, Southbound Designs, Red Bull USA, Stan's Downtown, and buywake.com. I'd also like to thank Tunz for coming out and letting us use their equipment, Hot 107.9 and Regents Broadcasting for promoting the event on the radio.  Jason Rogers for bringing out his Super Air Nautique this weekend and pulling the tournament for us as well as Brent Domingue for letting us use his jetski to pick up the riders and pulling the wakeskate division, Charles Reulet and all the other judges who came out to help determine our finalist and winners, Mark Doucet for coming out and cooking the jambalaya for us on Saturday and Sunday. Most of all I'd like to thank Chase Guidry who helped me put on the tournament as well as all of the past, current and future members of the UL Wakeboard team who came and helped to run the tournament this weekend.
